Red Millet Sprays

Spray millet is a nutritious snack for birds that's made up of millet seeds left on the stalk. It's also known as finger millet and is native to Asia and Africa.

Spray millet can:

• Satisfy a bird's natural instinct to forage,
• Exercise a bird's bill or beak,
• Relieve stress and anxiety,
• Provide extra calories and protein for young birds
• Teach baby parrots about textures and seed food extraction

It can be stored it in the refrigerator or freezer. For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert it in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location.

It's best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. You can replace it weekly or more frequently if desired.
